shipping & Return Policy

Please read through our shipping and return policies for information on shipping costs to your province and how we handle returns on products purchased online.

To ensure your order is shipped properly and quickly please ensure your mailing address is fully and correctly entered. Leading Edge Sharpening Services will not take responsibility for any incorrect information submitted. If a parcel is returned as “undeliverable” a store credit will be issued for the full price less the original shipping charges. If the customer chooses to have the item(s) shipped again the customer will assume the additional shipping fees.

We use a few shipping carriers and choose based on the best price and fastest option for our customers.  Those customers who are in rural areas or have postal outlet boxes will be limited to Canada Post Expedited Service.  

Items shipped via Purolator or Expedited Parcel with Canada Post are automatically insured for a value of $100.00. If you require additional insurance on your package please email us at [email protected] for an additional insurance quote. Extra coverage may be declined by the purchaser/customer; however, Leading Edge Sharpening Services WILL NOT assume liability for any lost or damaged shipping exceeding the $100 value unless additional insurance options have been arranged by the purchaser/customer.

Customers will be provided with a tracking number either via email or text message.

Sharpening And Product Orders

Western Canada

If you spend a minimum of $150 on sharpening orders before tax and coupons you will receive free return shipping to addresses in Alberta & Saskatchewan.

If you spend a minimum of $200 on sharpening orders before tax and coupons you will receive free return shipping to addresses in British Columbia & Manitoba.

Eastern Canada

Free return shipping for sharpening orders over $300 (before tax & coupons) for Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador. Free shipping for product orders over $300 (before tax & coupons) for Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Northern Canada

Free shipping for sharpening orders over $300 (before tax & coupons) for the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut. Free shipping for product orders over $300 (before tax & coupons) for the Yukon, Northwest Territories and Nunavut.

Free shipping for online purchases is available for all provinces and territories.  (Minimum purchase amount applies)

Alberta & Saskatchewan

$150+ minimum spend to qualify for free shipping or a flat rate of $14.99 for purchases below $150.

British Columbia & Manitoba

$200+ minimum spend to qualify for free shipping or a flat rate of $19.99 for purchases below $200.

Eastern Canada

$300+ minimum purchase or $29.99 flat rate for purchases of less than $300.

Yukon & NorthWest Territories

$300+ minimum purchase or $29.99 flat rate for purchases of less than $300.

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to limited storage space any items not paid for/picked up within 60 days of order completion will become the property of Leading Edge Sharpening Services Limited.

Return Policy

DAMAGED ITEMS

If your package is damaged upon receiving it please contact Leading Edge Sharpening Services within 5 business days of receipt of the package to discuss/arrange for a replacement. All packaging and shipping boxes must be retained by the customer for inspection by the courier/Canada Post.

RETURNING MERCHANDISE

Returns are accepted on all unused/undamaged items and in original packaging within 14 days of delivery date for a full refund (less 30% restocking fee) or an exchange of same or lesser price. We will pay all return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received the incorrect item, etc.)

Leading Edge Sharpening Services DOES NOT accept COD returns.

Refunds will be made according to the payment method used for purchase.

Any concerns regarding service orders need to be brought to our attention within 7 days of pick up or receiving in the mail. Clients can contact us by phone, email or text message.
